Because of some machining processes, the air of industrial environments may be full of polluting agents, as various dust and motes, harmful for health of working people and non-conforming with the relevant standards.

The company Savio S.r.l., ever-sensitive to and in the van of the solution of such problems, has studied and manufactured CART FILTER which, being particularly compact and having high filtering surface/volume ratio, is widely used in chemical / foodstuff /metallurgy industries, in the field of ceramic production as well as in silos, mills, screens, mixers, etc...

Its round shape allows getting a cyclone effect on the inflowing polluted air, with precipitation of the dust and higher efficiency of the filter cartridges.
The filter, in the versions suitable for use in an explosive atmosphere, has round shape, conforming to the ATEX regulations.
Furthermore, filters are so dimensioned as to offer the highest filtering efficiency even with finest-grained sizing of dust, and the filter cleaning is obtained by reverse-flow blasting. Note that the cartridge blast-cleaning, handled by a system of solenoid valves controlled through electronic panel, needs no system shutdown and allows keeping the filter airflow rate steady for long. The modular construction permits to use several systems for the collection of the polluting matters in the filter bottom. Among others, we want to draw attention to the powered stellar valve, which is required for discharge in continuous processing systems, or the wheeled container with dedicated hopper, and the double-valve outlet for filamentous materials.

For the simple maintenance of standard design filters, the cartridge replacement takes place from the top in the clean area, thus minimizing the servicing time required; however, on Customer's request, cartridges may also be taken off from the bottom in the "dirty" area, through appropriate doors.
