The air treatment unit "STACE" is capable of covering a range of levels between 1.500 and 400.000 m³/h. It is possible to develop units with a higher capacity with the same structure just adding local reinforcements of larger sizes. The units are made in three versions:

A) A lighter version for capacities of up to 15.000 m³/h.
B) A medium version for capacities between 16.000 and 80.000 m³/h.
C) A heavy version for capacities between 80.000 and over 350.000 m³/h.

In the light version the units are made of a structure of 40X40mm boxed section and 22mm thickness panels.

In the medium version the structures made of 60 X 60mm boxed section and 45mm thickness panels.

In the heavy version the structures are made of suitably reinforced 60 X 120mm boxed section and 45mm thickness panels.

Unless otherwise requested, the sections of the structure are always in galvanized steel or aluminium. The sections are connected by special angle pieces in die-cast aluminium designed by us.

The sandwich panels normally have a double wall in galvanized gauge 12/10 sheet metal. Upon request the panels may be made of aluminium, stainless steel, with inside wall in galvanized sheet metal and outside wall in pre-painted sheet metal, with inside wall in perforated galvanized sheet metal and outside wall of the above-mentioned types.

The bearing frame is made in galvanized sections o in aluminium designed by our technical office to obtain adequate sturdiness and straightforward, easy assembly with bolts only.

The mixing sections installed at the unit inlet before psychometric treatments can be made in different ways and usually are complete with shutters on the outside air inlet mouth and on the recirculation mouth.

In the fan section, at the standard level, we install centrifugal fans with double intake fan impellers with forward blades up to size 45 and with backward blades from size 50 to size 180. All the types of fans are installed in the fan section so that the whole air treatment unit has a suction function.

The fans are complete with safety guards on the transmissions, intake mouths and projecting shafts. Upon request the fan section can be made in explosion proof or anti-spark version using aluminium fans.

In the heating and cooling section all the batteries run on special guides and they are easily removable.

Generous inspection hatches are provided between the batteries, and special, suitably sealed condensate collection trays are fitted under the cooling batteries which dehumidify the air.

The Energy saving section, the Humidifying section and the Filter section are realized according to the client's needs and requests.
